Here it was. My first ever Volkswagen VIP event. Although I was annual leave for the build up to the event, I was asked to work the weekend of the event, to market it to our customers online. I decided to create a new highlight section on our Instagram page and filled it will all kinds of stories ranging from the aesthetics of how our showroom looked with black out curtains and celebrity cut outs to the incredible savings to be had on each of the vehicles.
As our charity citizenship date was becoming closer, I decided to coordinate a meeting with the other Crewe team members at my dealership. We’d use this time to discuss our event plans and go anything that required more attention. As a group, we had tried a range of methods to try and progress our day’s plans including a conference call and an online trello board, however a face to face meeting worked far better. We decided to create a meeting agenda to run through, this meant that nothing would be missed during our meeting due to the complexity of our event. By doing this, we were able to talk about each section of our event. We also used this time to finalise the design of how we wanted our event to look like. This was incredibly important as we wanted to start promoting our event online on our social media channels as well as in the dealership. Here is one of the finished articles that we managed to complete, I myself was responsible for all design aspects so felt tremendous pressure to ensure the visuals were at a good standard.
My primary focus for the end of this month was to boost our used car video percentage. This is the result that was published the following week and shows that my hard work had paid off as our percentage was in the green!
It was also an incredibly important time at the dealership as the weekend brought the first on September which only means one thing.. New plate release. This was my first brand new plate release month since I’d been there and the dealership had become incredibly busy! I was asked by the marketing team and the sales manager to come up with a new idea to promote the 69’ plate online. I decided to use the tools around me and asked if I was able to have some registration plates cut. The image below is the finished look of the Instagram post. I used the 3 continuous posting method to build suspension and emphasis on the overall image. The post worked better than I had initially anticipated and I managed to gain an outstanding amount of likes.

It is really good to see you using highlights - this will provide excellent evidence for your TC and TKU assessment criteria.
