After failing my first attempt of the HTML 4 MTA, I was determined that I’d put in even more revision throughout the few week gap to try and better my chances of succeeding. I spend many evening going through the revision notes I had made and went through the practise questions that many times on G-Metrix, that I had learnt the questions!
The Thursday soon came around and I suddenly found myself sat in the exam room looking at the questions that would either result in me being a happy bunny, or not – again. I’d ran through all of the questions around 5 times in total and saw that the clock was ticking. I knew that if I started changing answers, like I did previously, I may have got the same result. I clicked finish. Saw a green tick with ‘Pass’ beneath. I couldn’t believe it. I’d done it.
During November, we had our last ever training session at Escalla where we’d all be there. This was to complete the citizenship element of the apprenticeship. Although we had already done our event and taken all proceeds to the bank, we needed to now write this up and present a small presentation on what we had done, how we did it and the results. We started the week by creating a PowerPoint with slides describing each individual’s responsibilities. Similar to the visuals of the event, I want in charge to ensuring our PowerPoint looked as good as it sounded. We decided to rehearse the PowerPoint a number of times as later on in the week, we were to present this in front of the whole Escalla team as well as members of our own marketing team. To give the light hearted feel to the presentation, we decided to use bitmojis to complement our slides. This worked really well and enabled a comedic element to the overall feel.
Fab result Lucie and great pictures. I had better not tell Ted that there's another dog on your post!
